Paulo Morgado
Co-founder
Paulo Morgado is an entrepreneur and a Partner at Antas da Cunha ECIJA, a C-Suite executive and strategist. He is a former Executive Vice President of Capgemini, where he held the position of CEO of the Portuguese (2003-2014) and Spanish (2014-2018) offices.
He has been working in the Professional Services industry for more than 25 years (having integrated firms as Roland Berger and Banco Finantia), focusing on strategy and IT consulting, along with M&A. He has a solid reputation as a specialist in business turnarounds levered on sales growth.
Paulo has a Doctor´s degree in Business Administration (Ph.D) from the Nottingham Trent University, and a MBA from UCLouvain, along with university degrees in Business and Law, and and a MPhil. He also got multiple certifications in Digital Transformation, granted by the most prestigious EU and USA schools.
Paulo still plays an active role in academy, having published eight books on business-related topics, and lectured Corporate Strategy in top Business Schools, such as Instituto de Empresa or Porto Business School.
Pedro Pereira da Silva

Pedro Pereira da Silva is a Partner and Administrator at Bridgewhat, and serves as a Global Retail Advisor and a Non-Executive Director of the SPAR Group in South Africa, overseeing more than 5000 stores across 11 countries. He also sits on the Board of the Portugal’s Diáspora Council, among other roles. His previous leadership roles include serving as the General Manager of Pick n Pay in South Africa, managing over 1500 stores across 8 countries; CEO of the CEPD / Pelion Group, which includes over 2000 pharmacies in Poland, Lithuania, and the UK; and Chairman of the Dixy Group, Russia’s third-largest retailer with more than 3000 stores in various formats. His expansive 25-year career with the Jerónimo Martins Group began as a Management Trainee. He has since ascended to various positions including Director at Pingo Doce, Director at Feira Nova, General Manager in Madeira, CEO of Biedronka for a decade, and COO of the group for five years. During his tenure, he also spearheaded the launches of the HEBE chains in Poland and ARA in Colombia. From 2008 to 2016, he served as the Founder and President of the Poland Portugal Chamber of Commerce.
Pedro’s contributions to industry and international trade have been recognized with several honors, including the Medal of Merit from the President of the Republic of Portugal, Aníbal Cavaco Silva, in 2008; the Order of San Carlos in the grade of Commander from the President of the Republic of Colombia, Juan Manuel Santos, in 2013; and the Knight’s Cross of the Order of Merit of the Republic of Poland by the President of Poland, Bronislaw Komorowski, in 2015.
Pedro holds a degree in Economics from Nova School of Business and Economics in Lisbon and has completed the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School as well as the Executive Development Program at IMD in Lausanne.
Gonçalo Moura Martins

Trained as a lawyer, it was in this capacity that he began his career 34 years ago at the group where he remains today, Mota-Engil.
After a few years as a lawyer, he was challenged to embark on a management career, which led him to follow and participate in the remarkable growth and internationalization of the Group, now the undisputed leader in the sector in Portugal and in the top 15 largest European construction companies. He has served as the financial head and CEO across all of the Group’s business units, including CFO, and for the last 10 years, as the CEO of the Group.
Today, he has stepped down from full executive duties but remains on the Board as Vice-President of the Board of Directors of Mota-Engil and is involved in various personal projects, with particular emphasis on Bridgewhat, due to the potential that the company demonstrates.
Francisco Febrero

Born and raised in Lisbon, Francisco Febrero began his professional career at the Ministry of Finance. Years later, he joined Coopers & Lybrand, where he served as an external auditor between Portugal and Angola. After several years in auditing, he decided to transition to a corporate role, joining Idal – K.J.Heinz Company in Benavente as Controller.
Two years later, Francisco joined SIGIL as a SAP Financial Consultant and Project Management Consultant. He was part of the SAP Implementation team at major companies such as Unilever, Grundig, Jerónimo Martins, among other multinational corporations.
In 1996, he joined ROFF as a SAP consultant and was also a founder of the company. In 2000, he began managing all ROFF subsidiaries as CEO and President, in various countries across Europe, Africa, South America, and Asia. A strong connection with SAP in all these countries allowed the company to grow consistently, year after year, both nationally and internationally.
In 2016, he played a key role in the sale of ROFF (about 500 people and a turnover of 60 million euros, mainly in Portugal, Brazil, and Angola) to GFI. After this acquisition, he became the SAP Business Line Leader within the GFI Group.
In 2022, Francisco Febrero left his positions as Country Manager and Corporate Vice-President of the GFI/Inetum Group and, in 2024, took on a new position as CEO of AMT Consulting.
Mafalda Sottomayor

Mafalda Sottomayor is contributing her talents to Bridgewhat as a Customer Success Specialist & Partnerships, a role that leverages her strengths in communication, problem-solving, customer service, and teamwork. With a background that spans social media management, event coordination, and customer success, her journey is characterized by a commitment to expanding her knowledge and skill set through challenging professional opportunities.
Mafalda’s academic foundation includes a bachelor’s degree in political science and international affairs from NOVA University of Lisbon – School of Social Sciences and Humanities, complemented by a Postgraduate degree in Branding. This unique combination of fields underscores her ability to blend analytical thinking with creative problem-solving.
Due to her entrepreneurship and problem solver culture, Mafalda started to assume broader responsibilities along the time, including operational financial activities and ESG, ending up being a shareholder of Bridgewhat and a key person to our company.
Nuno Oliveira

Nuno Oliveira is an Entrepreneur and Executive Manager renowned for his expertise in navigating complex organizational and operational transformation initiatives and programs, acting as a strategic leader and agent for change, supporting companies in their evolution and adaptation to the market. His career spans various roles, including General Manager, Chief Technology Officer, C-level roles, Chief Digital Officer, Program/Delivery/Change Manager/Director. Nuno has been instrumental in driving strategic change and supporting companies in their journey towards market adaptation and business performance improvement, nationally and internationally.
Nuno is a dynamic native leader of multi-disciplinary and multi-country teams and people; offering a unique set of skills and experience to organisations looking for a balanced mix of strategic and execution leadership providing the necessary knowledge to allow organisations to evolve and adapt.
Being seen as a highly skilled technology and business partner, specialised in the introduction and delivery of technology-enabled business transformation to large-scale organisations, balancing high levels of technical knowledge with a realistic understanding of market trends and company vision/mission.
Working several years in Consultancy, Nuno utilises his strong communication and influencing skills to be seen as a trusted partner at the executive level as well as a leader when building and motivating teams.
